Fiona Wight Album Launch
8th March 2007
I've just got back from the London album launch of Fiona Wight's 'The Last Rose' album. I went along to show support for Fiona after recently working alongside her with her website www.fionawight.com.
It was a really amazing concert, Fiona was definitely on top form and the audience loved her! The venue for the album launch was in the Chapel of the House of St Barnabas in Soho, London. Fiona couldn't really have picked a better venue to showcase her new music, she was surrounded by candlelight and it was all very atmospheric. She captivated the audience with her performance of original contemporary celtic world music, accompanied by instruments such as the Celtic harp, whistle and djembe. A special viewing of her new music video, 'She Moved Through The Fair', was also shown and it is also due to be broadcast on Classic FM television - definitely one to look out for.
Thanks for inviting me along Fiona, I had a brilliant time and I can definitely see a bright future of this superb album.
